Youth Club
The club provides a safe environment for young people to enjoy a variety of activities and meets two to three times a week at the Broadford Village Hall.
We have grown to more than 90 members, have over 20 volunteers and a High Life Highland Youth Workers, Nicholas & Chloe. We often have members of the Community join us to demonstrate their skills or hobbies and they give the young people a chance to have a ‘hands on experience’. We also manage the only youth football teams in the south end of the island. Running all groups, Soccer 4’s & 7’s, Under 13’s, Under 15’s and Under 18’s. Access to extra activities at weekends and holidays is also a priority for the club as there is so little for our young people to do locally. We also try to provide weekend residential’s and day trips throughout the year. We often offer other opportunities like work experience, Leadership opportunities, Awards such a Saltire and Dynamic Youth Awards, and life skills.
AIMS OF THE CLUB: To offer the opportunity for personal and social development for the young people in the South of Skye and Lochalsh. To help them achieve their physical and social potential to aid them grow as individuals and become responsible members of the community.
