Community Biodiversity Day – 17 July

Jul 7, 2025

Join us on Thursday 17 July, 11am – 3pm

Looking for a fun day out? Come along to the Growers Hub on Thursday 17 July and learn about biodiversity in action. Join in hands-on activities and see fascinating wildlife demonstrations. There’s something for everyone and it’s all free, with refreshments!

There will be the chance to have a go at pond-dipping, see what we can find in the moth trap, get involved in something creative, and lots more. We are delighted to be joined by special guests from Species on the Edge, International Otter Survival Fund and the Amphibian and Reptile Conservation Trust. With a mixture of outdoor and indoor activities, an enjoyable day is guaranteed whatever the weather.

We encourage sustainable travel to the event. The Growers Hub is 10 minutes’ walk from Broadford Post Office, via the footpath through Camping Skye. There is limited parking on site and Disabled users will be prioritised.
