Information update: Contractors from Forestry and Land Scotland are currently on site at Broadford Forest – the area on the coastal side of the A87 also known as Skinidin Woodland. They are harvesting trees as part of their ongoing management programme. It is anticipated that the work will be finished by July. Please follow all safety signage and instructions from forestry staff if you are in the area. We do not currently anticipate any path closures, but this can change.
The forest is adjacent to the community-owned woodland managed by Broadford & Strath Community Company. We have plans to remove trees from this woodland in due course. We will keep you posted on web and social media about any path closures.
