On the 4th of May 2017 the Broadford Open Gardens had a very successful afternoon with sunshine and a good breeze to keep away the midges. The event was initiated by the Skye Gardening Society and included five private gardens, the Community Allotments and the Community Garden. It was a great opportunity to admire the hard work that goes into growing flowers and produce in Broadford and Breakish.
There were donations on the day and and the magnificent sum of £312.50 was raised for Skye Counselling Care.
