Broadford Environmental Group
The Broadford Environment Group is a Sub Committee of the Broadford and Strath Community Company. The group was formed in the spring of 2000 when a few like-minded members of the community got together to take steps to improve the environment in and around the village with a view to this providing a fresh face and leading towards economic benefits. The aim was to achieve this goal through the protection of the natural and built environment, provision, improvement and restoration of land for social, economic and environmental issues.
Currently we're in the process of purchasing 22.5ha of cleared woodland to develop as a Community Woodland.
