BECOME A MEMBER OF THE BROADFORD AND STRATH COMMUNITY COMPANY

Broadford and Strath Community Company aims to improve the natural and built environment of Broadford and Strath and ensure it is a desirable place in which current and future generations enjoy living, working and spending time.

Adopt these aims and consciously take ownership of the community by becoming a member of Broadford and Strath Community Company.

The Company aims to develop Broadford and Strath as a desirable place to live, work and visit for current and future generations. The Company aims to create a strong, self-sufficient, inclusive and eco organisation that operates for the social benefit of the whole community.

Ordinary membership will entitle you to nominate and be nominated as a Director. To vote at General Meetings and to have your say regarding company policy and direction. The income and property of the Company shall be applied solely towards the promotion of its objects and cannot be divided amongst the members of the Company. Full resident membership is open to anyone who is on the electoral roll for the Broadford and Strath postcode area.

Junior P1 Upwards

The Company aims to develop Broadford and Strath as a desirable place to live, work and visit for current and future generations.  The Company aims to create a strong, self-sufficient, inclusive and eco organisation that operates for the social benefit of the whole community.

Junior Membership is open to all school age children from P1 upwards.  Junior members are neither eligible to stand for election to the Board nor to vote at any general meeting.  Junior Membership does entitle you to have your say on Company policy and direction particularly with regard to matters relevant to young people. The income and property of the Company shall be applied solely towards the promotion of its objects and cannot be divided amongst the members of the Company.  Junior membership is open to anyone who lives in the Broadford and Strath postcode area.

Associate members are neither eligible to stand for election to the Board nor to vote at any general meeting. Associate Membership does entitle you to have your say on Company policy and direction. The income and property of the Company shall be applied solely towards the promotion of its objects and cannot be divided amongst the members of the Company.

Associate membership is open to anyone outwith the Broadford and Strath area.
